Prospectus >> Guidelines to Parents
Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to fully cooperate with the school authorities concerning the formation and education of their children. We strongly recommend the parents/guardians to look into their children’s school diary every evening and to see that the lessons and home-work assigned for the next day are neatly done.
The children should be encouraged to cultivate neatness habitually and slovenliness should be firmly disapproved of.
Parents, are particularly expected to counter sign against the remarks of the principal or teacher in diary which serves as an immediate means of contact between the school and guardians.
Students and parents are strictly forbidden to approach the teachers at their residence for anything that is pertaining to school matters.
Parents are expected to show great respect and courtesy while dealing with the teachers or higher authorities like Principal or Manager.
If there is a dire need, the manager can also be contacted on prior appointment.
Parents/guardians or other interested persons are strictly forbidden to see their wards or interview their teachers during the school hours without the sanction of the Principal.
Criticism of school authority or teachers is not a healthy practice and it must never be done in the presence of children as it will produce adverse effect on your own children.
If the parents have genuine complaints against the teachers they are advised to meet the principal or manager and settle the matter amicably.
Should you feel that your child does not make the desired progress, the principal should be contacted. No teacher of this school is allowed to tutor to the students of this school without prior permission of the Principal.
Absence of your child from class for attending social function is discouraged because it retards the progress of the child and minimized his/her respect for regular hard work.
As the medium of instruction in the school is English, the children should be helped to follow their class easily and intelligently by a certain amount of regular English conversation at home.
Persons after than parents, must carry a letter of authority from the parents to meet students. On failing to fulfill this, request will not be granted.
Once a student comes to the school, he/she will not be allowed to leave the campus until the school gets over. Hence requested for half-day leave, short leave etc. Will not be as a rule entertained.
Reports on general progress will be given in the progress report. These should be studied carefully and returned to school duly signed by the parents/guardians within three days.
Parents are not of offer gifts to the teachers or do a special favour to them without the prior permission of the Manager/Principal.
Students may offer presents to their teachers on those occasions sanctioned of the principal.
All letters and correspondence addressed to the students are subject to scrutiny of the principal.
Parents/guardians are advised to be prompt in responding to the request or directions of the principal or manager.
Parents/guardians must refrain from exerting any pressure on the school Authorities in the case of new admission.
The safety of the children must be a matter of concern to all the parents. Hence parents are kindly advised to cooperate with the school authorities in bearing with certain restrictions imposed at the school gate.
Students should behave in a decent manner on their way to any form school. Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behaviour outside the school. Any report of objectionable conduct on the part of the students makes them liable for disciplinary action. The principal may punish an erring student in a manner suited to the offence eg. By detention after the class hours, or by expulsion from the school, without justifying his/her action.
